Preparations

Only a little more than two weeks to go before we leave! We are very busy preparing, mainly because we are giving up the apartment and moving all our stuff into a warehouse. Although Hong Kong services are quite efficient, it still takes me a lot of time to arrange everything. We are staying at a friends house, which is conveniently located in our street, from the 25th. It will be a bit of a weird Christmas this year....
Mette is sick at the moment, but the positive side is that she will be feeling ok again when we leave. She is more or less aware that something is going to happen. Today she announced out of the blue: 'Mette is going to New Zealand and Australia'. She has no clue what that is, but at least something from what we have been telling her has sunken in. Allard is doing well, he is a happy and healthy boy. He is expanding quite much because we just switched to bottle feeding and apparently he was not getting quite enough. He gives us a lot of smiles which makes your whole day brighten up. Tom is still doing a lot of hiking, he has gotten hooked on it. I am happy that I finished doing my papers for my psychology course because it is busy enough already. Tom's brother Jan is stopping over with his wife Nadine and their son Hugo are on their way to new Zealand so we'll have fun here with them and there too!
